The complete North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal, more than 11,000 pages, are available online as a member benefit.
To read the Journal, login, then click NCGS Journal in the Member Menu. You must use Adobe Acrobat version 7 or higher to read these PDFs. You may download a free Acrobat reader (currently at version 9.2) from Adobe's website: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
The NCGS Journal on CD-ROM (available from the NCGS Web Store) includes comprehensive search functionality, allowing full-text searches across the issues of the Journal included on that disc. Due to limitations of Adobe's Acrobat Reader, the same multi-file full-text search capability is not available in the online version. You can, however, read any issue and search within it.
Additional information is available as follows:
The North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal is made available in PDF format for the express personal use of individual, family, and lifetime members and cannot be shared with non-members or stored in an information storage and retrieval system for the purpose of for-profit or not-for-profit sharing with non-members without express written permission from the Society.
