Finding a North Carolina Revolutionary War Ancestor Preview

Minute Man-resizedEnjoy this preview to Finding a North Carolina Revolutionary War Ancestor with Craig R. Scott, CG, FUGA.

North Carolinians were active participants in the Revolutionary War, providing men, supplies, and support for the revolutionary cause. Records were created before, during, and after the war. There is more to research than compiled military service records and pension application files, such as public claims, pension ledgers, and pension payment vouchers.

A free public viewing of the entire webinar was available 5-7 Dec 2014. The full webinar, along with handout, is always available in the Member Webinars section of the website, as well as on full audio/video CD in the NCGS online store. Also available in the NCGS online bookstore is North Carolina Research - Genealogy and Local History, the text for the NCGS Webinar Series, and Webinar CDs for all released webinars.
